What we're up to:

Eclipse changes people’s lives for the better by generating human-centered insights that help organisations do things differently. We work internationally and locally with a vision to inspire organisations to generate positive long term change through impactful human-centred insights.

We work in three areas key to people’s everyday lives:

Money: We work with clients and partners to inform and design person-centred solutions that promote financial capability and inclusion. 

Health: We focus on person-centred research for the design of new healthcare products and explore patients’ lived experience to inform innovation.

Community: We combine person-centred research principles with technology to inform decisions that address the complex needs of a range of communities.

 

We are interested in applicants who have:

  • At least 5 years experience as a researcher focused on end users.  

  • Experience designing, carrying out research with a variety of populations to  generate insights around human behaviour.

  • Experience working with clients to translate research implications into strategic and/or operational decisions and actions.

  • Interest, willingness and experience in developing research ideas, proposals and long-term partnerships. 

  • The ability to translate research insights into implications and improvements for service users - working together with service designers and stakeholders. 

  • The ability to communicate insights effectively and bring them to life with a variety of deliverables.

  • An interest in the role of technology to understand people, scale research and deliver to user needs.

  • A belief that a focus on people is fundamental in creating inclusive policies, products and services for social impact.

It would be great if:

  • You are excited to share your knowledge and able to listen and learn from others.

  • You are able to articulate your ideas in clear, compelling ways.

  • You have worked in the public sector or on projects to deliver social impact.

  • You have experience supporting or leading business development activities

  • You can challenge conventions and inspire others.

  • You have a track record of working with vulnerable or underrepresented groups.

  • You have working knowledge of Government Digital Services (GDS) methodologies and experience delivering projects according to the UK government’s Service Standard.
